John Yaschur III has practiced the art of music for the past 45 years. He began studying music at age 8 with noted Jazz Guitarist Joe "Ford" Descafano of New York City's famed Sammy Del Trio. At age twelve, by request of RCA Records, John recorded a demo album with Joe "Ford" Descafano and was featured as a child soloist. His formal music studies continued with Joe "Ford" Descafano, then further studies with Guitar Instructor Howard Wander. In 1971 John entered Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he studied for 5-years. Upon completing his studies at Berklee, he taught K-12 music and instructed at Berklee College of Music. In 1981 John became a concert artist and sales promoter for the Lowery Organ Company. Leaving the piano-organ business in the mid-eighties, John moved to the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area and played the guitar at engagements in the greater Philadelphia area. In 1990 John married the concepts of "advertising and music" creating J. Yaschur Music Productions. Over the years J. Yaschur Music Productions has produced "concept to finished product" commercials for nationally known companies, political campaigns and non-profit organizations. Through J. Yaschur Music Productions, John also takes on the role of Executive Producer with one of the most affordable "Recording to Packaged CD" programs available. With an eye on recording/producing CD projects for choirs, ensembles, churches, schools, colleges, and artists, J.Y.M.P. offers a one-of-a-kind program where a Professionally Recorded CD and affordable meet. John maintains an active concert schedule, as a Master Singer/Songwriter, in the Mid-Atlantic States and he has received acclaim from colleagues at Berklee College of Music, as well as international recognition from songwriting organizations for his compositions.
